Jubilee Celebrations in Ardfoyle Convent, Cork March 6th was a special day for OLA's in the Irish Province. It was a day to commemorate the first profession of many sisters and in particular to celebrate the Golden Jubliee of Srs. Bernadette O'Connell, Anne Cashman and Mary Joe Ring. Read more OLA Sisters Participate in Irish Aid Volunteering Fair in UCC On February 20th, the Devere Hall in the UCC Students Centre was the Venue for the first ever Irish Aid Volunteering Fair to take Place in Munster. The OLA's were among the 22 Groups offering information on both long and short term volunteering opportunities. The event was hosted by Minister Michael Martin. Srs. For more information on the on the Fair, click here OLA Superior General Visits Ireland Sr Felicia Harry, OLA, the first ever African leader of an International Missionary Congregation, made her first official visit to Ireland in January/February 2010 visiting the OLA Sisters. Sr Felicia recently made an impact with her input at the African Synod of Bishops in Rome in October.
