The OLA Mission throughout the world is supported
by the prayers of our relatives, friends and supporters.
Many Irish OLA Sisters are retired now from active ministry and
dedicate their lives to supporting the mission of spreading God's
kingdom by fulfilling a dedicated and active prayer ministry.
In all OLA Communities and particulary in Ardfoyle which we describe as our "Powerhouse of Prayer"
the Sisters pray daily for the many global concerns that affect the lives of the poor in our world.
The intentions of our many supporters are included in our community prayers, especially those who have asked us to pray for a
particular intention. If you would like the sisters to pray for particular intentions, contact them on prayers@olaireland.ie
Prayer
for guidance
Lord, help us to listen to your call and be faithful to it,
to witness to your peace, love and compassion in our world.
As we remember especially the missions,
May we be inspired by the Words of the OLA Founder
"Live in most intimate union with God...do not forget
God's presence in your being, but bring God wherever you go, into the heart of your works'.
There are many useful websites to
help the busy person take a few minutes out of their hectic schedule to spend time reflecting on God's presence in their lives.

In recent years the OLA's in Ireland
have been developing their 'Lay Mission Movement'. To date three of these Groups have been set up.
Part of what they do is to deepen their own prayer life while in turn praying for the OLA Missions.
If you are interested in being part of this movement, contact us for more information on
