Violence against women and girls can be stopped. It’s not inevitable. We need stronger laws, better data, accountability, and more support for organizations working on the ground. We must call for systemic change.
In 2023, Africa saw the highest rates of intimate partner and family-related femicide. No region is untouched by this violence. It’s time to confront these deadly patterns and act. Let’s amplify these statistics and call for global action.
Every 10 minutes, a woman or girl is killed by someone who should love and protect them. This violence is unacceptable. We must stand together to end this epidemic. Share this fact, raise awareness, and demand change now.
Each of us is called to oppose any form of violence against women and girls. We must work together to ensure that the human rights and dignity of every person are recognized. ~ Pope Francis
