Vocations Ireland have formed a team with the U.K. to work on a European music project together with Austrian, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Croatia.

(PLEASE SHARE WITH THE YOUNG PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE!)

Everyone is called by God, be it in the specific vocation to marriage or to a consecrated life, but also in general in every moment of our lives.

Why not share your thoughts and ideas about your own life’s journey and calling through the lyrics and music of a song that may help others on their own journey.

You will have the chance to not only win cash prizes but also be part of a professional CD production with your song and receive feedback from accomplished musicians on the panel.

Applications close on 31 July 2021, so there’s still time to enter.  The Composer must be aged between 18-to late 30’s however they can perform with others no matter what age the performers are.  Are you a member of a choir, parish folk group, college choir or family/community member who is involved in music?  Then listen to these entries that will help you get your creative juices going.  Encourage others to work with you and help keep those entries coming in.

There are currently twenty two submissions with more entries each day and voting has opened. You can watch the music videos and vote for your favourite videos on Facebook as well as on the website.

Currently the entry from the Poor Clares in the UK is in the lead. There is also an exciting song entered by Salesian House in Maynooth.
