Love in the Flesh

📖 Scripture: John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…”

❤️ Reflection
Love is the heartbeat of Advent. It’s the reason for the waiting, the joy behind the promise, and the light that breaks into the world. In this final week, we reflect on the radical truth that God’s love took on flesh — vulnerable, human, and near.
This love is not abstract. It’s personal. It meets us in our brokenness and invites us to love others with the same grace and courage.

🙏 Prayer
God of Love, thank You for drawing near. Teach me to love as You love — generously, humbly, and without fear. Let Your presence transform my heart and my relationships.

🧡 Personal reflection
How have I experienced God’s love this Advent?
Who in my life needs to feel that love through me?

🏠 Concluding Prayer on Love
Loving God,
You entered our world not with grandeur, but with grace —
a child in a manger, a light in the dark,

a love that reaches into every corner of our lives.
As Advent draws to a close,
we thank You for the love that never fails,
the love that heals, restores, and renews.
Help us to carry that love into the world —
to see with compassion, to speak with kindness,
and to act with courage.
Let Your love be born again in us,
so that we may become living reflections of Your heart.
Amen.

The Jubilee Prayer for 2025

Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us
in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity enkindled
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your Kingdom.

May your grace transform us
into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel.
May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos

in the sure expectation
of a new heaven and a new earth,
when, with the powers of Evil vanquished,
your glory will shine eternally.

May the grace of the Jubilee
reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,
a yearning for the treasures of heaven.

May that same grace spread
the joy and peace of our Redeemer
throughout the earth.

To you our God, eternally blessed,
be glory and praise for ever. Amen
