“but those who hope in Yahweh will regain their strength, they will sprout wings like eagles, though they run they will not grow weary, though they walk they will never tire.” ~ Isaiah 40:31
Spending time in prayer can provide us with perspective and allow us to be comforted by the love of God. We are living in uncertain times and all of us are in need of comfort and guidance. What we need most of all is the strength to endure.
We turn to God for strength; we cannot find that strength in the world. The bible tells us that “those who hope in Yahweh will regain their strength,” and so we are able to pray with absolute faith that God will strengthen us for the road ahead.
Prayer
Almighty God,
Help me to remember to turn to You
in times of distress and chaos,
for that is where I will find solace and resilience.
Let me remember that it is in You
that I will find comfort
and the ability to endure.
I pray that you will renew my strength
and bring me to a place of peace
where I may rest in Your Mercy
and Your Grace.
In Christs name I pray.
